Carowinds
Carowinds is the place where the Carolinas come together. The premier entertainment destination of the Carolinas touts world-class thrill rides, live entertainment, authentic Carolina cuisine and more. In 2016, the all-new Carolina Harbor Water Park celebrates the culture of the Carolina coast with new attractions for everyone and is included with admission.
Downtown Fort Mill and Walter Elisha Park
The Town of Fort Mill (est 1873) is located just south of the state line shared with North Carolina. Approximately 12,000 people live inside the town’s corporate limits with a total of nearly 50,000 residing within the entire township. While there are many areas covered with new construction, don’t miss out on the historical locations in Fort Mill.
Walter Elisha Park is a 12-acre park that offers several amenities such as a 0.6-mile walking trail, playground facilities, and a large green space that is home to the town’s annual “Strawberry Festival.”
"The Greenway"
Anne Springs Close Greenway, otherwise known as “The Greenway” is rich in both natural and cultural resources. The Greenway operates over 40-miles of trails, 12-miles of which are equestrian trails. It is home to 29-acre Lake Haigler and 4 other fishing ponds, mixed hardwood forests and prairies and other areas that are truly breathtaking.
Kingsley is an heirloom project, woven into the Fort Mill community. It is designed to honor past generations by providing a development that will be enjoyed by future generations.
